Collaboration
Change x Unzipped is an annual global health conference, run by students, for students. It began as an amalgamation of two previously separate global health conferences and is now a Victorian student-run collaboration between students from Monash, Deakin and Melbourne universities.
It aims to engage delegates through inspiring plenaries, hands-on workshops and engagement with community groups; motivating delegates to take action on global health issues.
Conscientious
Environmental, social and economic sustainability are core values of CxU, and are incorporated into the management, logistics and academic program of the conference.
Financial, geographical and social accessibility sets CxU apart from other global health conferences, allowing students from metropolitan Melbourne and Geelong to attend, with ticket prices also capped to remove cost as a barrier.
Interdisciplinary
Last year, our 100+ delegates represented seven universities, across 16 different disciplines.
Our program provides supportive networking opportunities between delegates, as well as speakers through our interactive workshops and social events to further promote interdisciplinary and inter-university collaboration.
